Caution, here come another campaign season!

March 2nd, 2019

Yes, yet another campaign season. And yes, Bernie Sanders (a Democratic Socialist) did announce that he is running for president again, hopefully he will loose again.

Obviously Socialism is wrong for the United States, but not every that comes out of Bernie's mouth is wrong. Actually I did agree with some of what he had to say. For instance, on page of his book "Where we go from here; Two Years into the Revolt" on page 105 Bernie says "I want to make it very clear: terrorism is a very real threat , as we learned so tragically on September 11, 2001, and many other countries have similar attacks." But I want to be clear about  something else: as an organizing framework, the global war on terror has been a disaster for the American leadership. Orienting U.S. National security strategy around terrorism essentially allowed a few thousand violent extremists to dictate policy for the most powerful nation on earth. It responds to terrorism by giving them exactly what they want."

Yes terrorism is a real threat to the U.S. and the war on terrorism has been a disaster for America, not just the leadership but the citizen as well.

The Socialist threat to the United States!

February 17th, 2019

Socialism is a real threat to the United States! Bernie Sanders, Self described democratic Socialist, did run for president-- and lost, thank god! But the one that did win isn't much to boast about. But at least Trump isn't a Socialist just a want to be despot. But that sounds like it may be grist for a possible upcoming pod cast.

Bernie may running aging in 2020. Both Trump and Bernie, god help us all. In this episode I point out some of the socialism that we already have in this country. And the dangers presented by Bernie and Socialism. I talk about his new book.

My Plan to phase out Social Security

January 4th, 2019

I took a little break from my series and talk about an interesting Facebook post that I saw. Written by James Morris in his few sentences he writes, "Walls can keep you in as well as keep people out. Let people work in America who want to work, without all the needed red tape and Governmental BS. End the welfare/warfare state of America, to make it "sane again" as our founding fathers intended. Happy New Year to all 2019.

Obviously Mr. Morris is right we need all of those things plus withholding tax.

And a gentlemen by the name of Tom Stilling, responded to my response by asking me, You do realize that "payroll tax" is to fund Social Security and Medicare, right? Although I question their constitutional validity, our society as a whole is pretty much conditional to expect them. Ending the just ain't going to happen."

Yes Mr. Stilling, I realize that pay is in part used to fund the unconstitutional Social Security and Medicare programs. But they must be fazed out.

The Sociailization of the United States

December 4th, 2018

In this first series I will take a look at the Socialist turn the United States has been taking since at least 1935, when Social Security was created. In this episode, the first episode of my first series, I look at the Certificate of Need Program. Basically, it is a socialist central planning program. According to an overview I copped off of Agency for Health Care Administration's web site; "The Certificate of need (CON) program is a regulatory program that requires certain health care providers to obtain state approval before offering certain new or expanded services. The CON program currently regulates hospices, skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled, new hospitals, and certain hospital services. It does not regulate outpatient services, home health services, purchases of major medical equipment. or assisted living facilities.

Not only is it a Socialist program but it also increases the cost of medical care. It cost between $10,000 to $50,000 to put in an application to this socialist program.
